About Mahendra College of Education

      Mahendra College of Education, established in 2007 by Mahendra Educational Trust was affiliated to Periyar University, Salem. Since 2008 it has been affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. Our College, located in the suburban village of Kumaarmangalam, Namakkal enjoys a tranquil, unpolluted, serene atmosphere among the greens. It covers an area of 0.56 acre which constitutes administrative and departmental buildings, computer labs, playgrounds, canteen and students’ hostel. The green surroundings of the institution provide a healthy and pleasant environment. The College, which has stepped into its 5th year in the field Teacher Education offers nine courses.

Location

The college is in a sprawling campus in sylvan surroundings free from pollution. The college stands on the Tiruchengode - Namakkal state highway, 4 kms from Tiruchengode and is well connected to all major cities, industrial centers across the country through rail and road network. The area is characterized by educational and economic transformation.
